Last Monday was a public holiday for the Thanksgiving long weekend. Ten of us hired two cars and drove an hour north of Vancouver to Squamish. We then hiked the 'Chief' which consists of three peaks. You can do as many as you like. We did three. It was definitely one of the hardest things I have ever attempted, with a mix of walking along trails, steps and some parts sheer rock face. It took nearly all day, but as you can see from the photos, the view was well worth it! My legs were sore for two days after!

I have looked at and loved the Chief so many times, but I have never climbed it, looked like a real ton of fun.
